Paths & Conditional Logic

Paths create branching experiences where customers follow different routes based on specific rules or data.

  • How to Create: Select a step in Steps View, click the Path Icon, and select "Convert to Path."
  • Condition Types: Trigger branches using Field Values, Team Responses (e.g., Approve vs. Reject), System Data, or Time-Based triggers (e.g., if no response after 48 hours)

Parallel Processing

Parallel processing allows multiple steps to occur simultaneously, significantly reducing the total time a customer spends in a stage.

  • The "Longest Task" Rule: In a parallel flow, the total time for the stage is determined by the longest branch.
    • Example: If Task A takes 2 days and Task B takes 3 days, a Sequential flow takes 5 days. A Parallel flow takes only 3 days.
