Journey States

  • Draft: Your sandbox. Full editing is permitted, but it is invisible to customers.
  • Published: The journey is live. Structural changes are restricted to protect the integrity of active customer paths.
  • Previously Published: Read-only historical archives.

The Publishing Process & Validation

Before going live, the system performs a mandatory check.

  • Validation Indicators:
    • Red Highlighting: Individual actions with errors are highlighted in the editor.
    • Error Badge: Displays the total error count in the top toolbar.
    • Error Details: Click the badge to open a sidebar listing specific issues (e.g., "Missing Automation Selection").
  • Common Checks: The system scans for missing configurations, broken connections, and logic errors.

Version Control

When you publish a revision:

  1. New Customers: Automatically enter the latest version (v2)
  2. Existing Customers: Finish the journey on the version they originally started (v1). This ensures a consistent experience without mid-process logic changes.
