IP Whitelist and Strict IP Settings

IP Whitelist - this setting allows you to define a list or range of IP addresses that are allowed to log into your organization in CXME. Logins from IP addresses outside this range will be denied access.

Strict IP - When toggled on, this setting requires that users remain on the same IP address they used to login, for the duration of their session. If a user’s IP address changes during the session, the session will be terminated and they will be logged out.

Examples of these security settings

IP Whitelist only: You set up a whitelist of 1.1.1.1/24 which means users on IP 1.1.1.1-1.1.1.254 can access CXME for the organization, and their IPs can float/change within that range and not invalidate their sessions.  Users outside of the IP range cannot login at all.

Strict IP only: You can login from any IP on the internet, but if your IP changes mid-session, you get booted.

IP Whitelist + Strict IP: You set up a whitelist of 1.1.1.1/24 which means users on IP 1.1.1.1-1.1.1.254 can access CXME for the organization, and their IPs cannot float/change once they start a session.  Users outside of the IP range cannot log in at all.
