What is Fallback Handling?

Fallback Handling is a process the Virtual Assistant will follow when the End User's message does not match several conditions. These conditions are outlined in the following KB: https://help.goboomtown.com/Understanding-Classification

Once classification has reached Fallback Handling, the VA will perform the following steps:

  1. The VA checks for a Local Fallback message inside the current Message Node and runs it ‘N’ number of times as specified at the bottom of the right pane of the Global Fallback flow.
  2. The VA then runs the Global Fallback flow. Once the VA has run the Global Fallback ‘N’ number of times as specified at the bottom of the right pane of the Giving Up flow, the VA will move on to the Giving Up flow.
